Hi Stampin' friends,

I have received new product from the January - June 2021 mini catalog and free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog as well.  It's that time of year to start gearing up for some fabulous new stamp sets, designer series paper, dies, embellishments, you name it, it is fabulous.  The sales period is January 5, 2021 through June 30, 2021.  Here are four cards I made using the Oh So Ombre 6x6 designer paper and the Simply Succulents stamp set.

The holidays are on us.  Actually Thanksgiving was last week and in 3 1/2 weeks it will be Christmas.  Are you all ready.  I am just starting my Christmas shopping.  I have family out of town as well as out of state.  

I hope you all had a safe and happy Thanksgiving.  It is all about being thankful.  What are you thankful for.  I am thankful for my family and friends no matter where they are.  This has been a rough year, but I am so grateful for everything I have.  Very thankful for Jesus, my Saviour, a warm home, food and my Stampin' Up! job.

I would like to show you a scrappy card that my Hostess of the Month Club ladies made this month.  It is using scraps of DSP and adhering them in different directions on your cardstock.  I will do a Facebook Live in the next week or two showing you how to make this simple card. 

You will need a piece of colored cardstock for the base.  Cut it to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4".  Black cardstock cut at 5 1/4" x 4" and whisper white cardstock cut at 5" x 3 3/4".  You can use any scraps that are 1/2" or you can use your designer series paper and cut strips at 1/2" x 6".   For the sentiment, I used black cardstock as the mat and whisper white for the sentiment and die cut it using Hippo and Friends Dies.  The sentiment is from Country Home stamp set.  I used the Autumn punch pack to punch out three leaves in different colors to finish out my card.

Just a little bit about me.  It has been nine years since I have blogged, so I am kind of starting over at the beginning.  With the pandemic hitting this year and losing my full time job, I needed to jump on the bandwagon and try new things out of my comfort zone.  To be honest, I am technologically challenged, but with the help of Kylie Bertucci's Social Media Training Course, I just might be able to learn a thing or two.  

I did have to give up having face to face card classes earlier this year and was unsure what direction to go in.  I do have a club that meets once a month, but due to the pandemic, had to stop that for a time.  I am still holding my club group and it is small enough that the ladies are comfortable in meeting together now.  

Thanks to a friend of mine and fellow demonstrator, Sandra Zieroth came to my rescue and has been helping me to learn how to do Facebook Lives.  If I don't hurry up and gain confidence in doing this by myself, she is liable to cut bait and leave me on my own.
